Ladies, last week we discussed the significance of being surrounded by virtuous friends, who are filled with kind tongues and words of wisdom. Well, tonight I want to discuss that a virtuous woman understands that this life is not her own, but instead belongs to GOD. With that being said, a virtuous woman, "stretched out her hand to poor; yea she reacheth forth her hands to the needy," (Proverbs 31:21). Are you a giver to those in need?
GOD provides us with our spouses, children, homes, car, jobs, and money. However, these items are not our permante belongings. What we contain, all belong to HIM. (You can't take it with you when you die)! Doesn't it make sense to use what GOD has blessed you with, to help bless someone else? As some would say, pay it forward?
This past Sunday, I was convicted about my attitude of giving, after my Pastor's evening message. He spoke about this same topic; using what GOD has provided us, to be a blessing to others. I questioned myself who have I helped today? What have I done lately to make some one's day brighter? Instantly, I began making up excuses, "Well, money has been tight lately." But immediately GOD's voice kicked in and that brain fart was quickly warped. Let's just say when I thought long and hard, I was pretty displeased with my lack of giving. I can definitely do more to be a blessing to others.
Whether your giving consists of your time, or your money, a virtuous woman gives to those she observes in need. You may have a girlfriend who's in need of a small break from her children; help her. Watch her children while she takes a nap. You may have free time after working your 9-5; maybe you can tutor children in an after school program. For those of you who can help financially, seek ways to give to a charity, help a ministry, or donate to a community center. More importantly, make sacrifices to aid others, just as GOD sacrificed his son for you.
As virtuous women, we have to learn to use the tools and talents that GOD gives each of us to encourage someone else. With all of the people in the world reaching for help, I am sure that you can find someone to extend your hands out to. Give, give, give, and plant a smile on your neighbor's face. And remember to give willingly. If your giving is not willingly, its not virtuous giving, "Every man, according as he pursposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity," ( 2 Co 9:7).
I am a strong virtuous woman who understands GOD's love, with a family who honors me, virtuous friends who love me, and with a willing giving spirit.

Exactly, what I needed, especially when I feel like I'm amongst the greedy, who are always in need. But in spite of I'll keep in mind your suggestions. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
