Are you a virtuous woman?

"She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms," (Pro 31:17).

My original plan for tonight’s blog was to enlighten you about the Women’s Conference that I attended with my church in Little Rock, Arkansas this past weekend. However, after having to reset my phone and losing all of my pictures from the retreat, (all of my pictures period just a few hours ago), I will have to report about the retreat in another blog. See, I want you ladies to be able to get the FULLLLLL effect of what I experienced in just 2 days; a great time of fellowship with other ladies across the country, and a time of growing for the Lord.

Therefore, tonight I will leave you with a very inspiring poem that compares a strong woman versus a woman of strength www.ruthshaven.com. I meet strong women every day, but not sure how many of those women are “women of strength.” Which one are you?

Strong Women vs. Women of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape ...
but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape...

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything ...
but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear...

A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her ...
but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone...

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future...
a woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be God's blessings and capitalizes on them...

A strong woman walks sure footedly ...
but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls...

A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face ...
but a woman of strength wears grace...

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey ...
but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong...

Once raised by a Virtuous single mother, I am now a strong Virtuous, Fashionista, who is a woman of strength, that understands the power of my words, that is aware of GOD’s presence, is allowing my light to shine, whose growing to be more passionate about serving the Lord, who can listen without pride to constructive criticism, whose fear does not hold me back, who runs to the Lord first about everything, who strives to stay on GOD’s course, who is saved by the grace of GOD, who admits to being envious of others at times, who knows my worth, has a calming peace, who gives thanks daily, who wants to be a GODLY example to others, who is able to forgive my enemies, who has high expectations of me, who has been created in GOD’s own image, who lovingly submits to my spouse, who understands GOD's love, has an intimate relationship with GOD, supports Breast Cancer Awareness, with a family who honors me, Virtuous friends who love me, and with a giving spirit.
