I Need a Reminder

When was the last time you reflected on all of the blessings that God has given to you? I know we’ve discussed appreciating our blessings from the Lord in previous blogs, but I think it’s highly important that we
meditate on how loyal God is to us daily.

I can’t tell you how many people I talk to who are so unhappy about the things of today, and who are constantly so negative. In all honesty many of these women claim to be saved Christians. And quite honestly, it is
starting to make my stomach turn.

Therefore, instead of a regular blog tonight, I am asking that all of my readers take out a pen and pad, and write down all of the many ways that God has blessed you, from just this year alone. Let’s all start at

the beginning of January 2011 to today, September 13, 2011. This can include ways God has blessed you personally, or others that you may know. For example, it can be something as simple as the Lord led you to forgive a once
“unforgiving” friend, or God provided you the boldness to witness to a loved one. If we are allowing the Lord to lead us the way that we proclaim, then we should have a laundry list tonight.

I too, will be participating in this. When things sometimes go awry, I tend to quickly forget the ways in which the Lord has truly changed my life. Therefore, after creating this list I will post it as a reminder that regardless of one bad day, God has blessed me with so many more wonderful days.

If you would like to share your list with us, please feel free to contact me. If not, I urge you to keep it as a reminder, and read it daily so that you NEVER forget what He has brought you through. The Bible reminds us, “That in
blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies,” (Gen 22:17).

Feeling some type of way tonight,
